Building a legacy
Linked from its beginnings to the development and growth of the country's economy, Finanzauto has wanted to play a leading role in the progress of the main industry sectors in Spain. A path connected with the most relevant facts of the past and recent history of our country, which began to be written in the middle of the last century. It is a trajectory marked by determination, a deep strategic vision, and a capacity for growth and investment that has shaped the profile of a company that embraces in its pillars a deep sense of continuity.
Spain's development and growth cannot be understood without taking into account the country's industrialization and the construction of major infrastructure throughout its territory. The last 20th century was, without a doubt, a century of change and progress towards a new model of country and society.
Finanzauto's life, since its creation in 1930 and its relationship with Banca López-Quesada, has gone through a parallel growth process, through the distribution agreement for the PEGASO brand in the 1950s and the Caterpillar brand in 1963.
Almost 60 years have passed since this agreement and Finanzauto has continued to evolve to consolidate itself as a modern and dynamic company, a reference in all markets where it is present and has been able to adapt to the challenges of a constantly changing economic environment.
DIVERSIFICATION, INNOVATION AND AUDACITY
Today, and after more than 90 years since the company was founded, Finanzauto is proud to have an even more robust immune system. This dynamic of evolution, adaptation and modernization is now more present than ever after its entry three years ago into the Italian group TESYA. A European group with presence throughout the Mediterranean area with the common goal of promoting the growth of customers, countries and societies in which it operates.
During this period, Finanzauto has launched several ambitious projects. A determined strategy of change to maintain a line of constant, rational and sustainable transformation of its business model. Thanks to this continuous search, they have managed to expand their portfolio of products and services, obtaining the distribution of prestigious brands of machines and energy solutions such as Sandvik, Konrad, Prinoth and 2G. The goal, to become a multi-specialist company and systems integrator, focused on assisting its customers in developing their businesses and activities and fostering innovation in the sectors in which it operates, always seeking the best performance, safety and transition to more sustainable models of production.
Currently, Finanzauto offers 360º proposals for sectors such as public works, mining and quarrying, forestry, recycling, ports, landfills, demolition, construction and paving.
It is also a reference in power generation solutions, locomotive propulsion and emergency systems for critical applications such as hospitals, data centers, schools...
Likewise, they are leaders in the marine propulsion market, offering worldwide service for all types of vessels and consolidating themselves as a reference in the energy transition of the Mediterranean arc towards a more sustainable model.
The company continues to work in search of new lines of growth and thus offer a transversal and Iberian proposal to its customers, taking advantage of synergies with the company STET, its counterpart in Portugal and also part of the TESYA group.
A joint strategy that takes advantage of the strengths of both companies to improve their market presence and position themselves as stronger and more solvent companies.
COMPANIES ARE THEIR PEOPLE
One of Finanzauto's goals as a company is to be able to attract and retain diverse talent. That is why they work every day on a selection process that revolves around two ideas. The first is that all candidates are evaluated using the "person-function-culture" triangle to ensure their suitability for the company. It is not just about finding professionals with the highest qualifications in their position (something that is taken for granted), but about finding profiles that feel identified with the company's purpose, culture, and values. This part, perhaps sometimes undervalued in the selection process, makes the employees who fit this philosophy feel part of a project that goes beyond the results. It is about participating in the company's development as a nexus that unites and encompasses its people, all moving towards a common goal and shaping the workspace and the pillars on which this evolution is based. The second idea is YoUniversity, the school concept through which Finanzauto offers engineering and technical students the opportunity to have their first work experience in the organization. These students are paired with the technical team and experienced engineers to learn first-hand how things are done
In short, the company has maintained a firm strategy of attracting young talent. A strong contribution to the progress and growth of this wonderful part of Europe: the Iberian Peninsula.

DEALING WITH UNCERTAINTY
Finanzauto is committed to continuing to work on promoting and contributing to the recovery of the Spanish economy. The brave investments the company made in infrastructure, talent and expansion of its portfolio of solutions during the most difficult months of the pandemic are a clear example of its commitment to fighting the uncertainty that plagues the different sectors in which it operates.
The future drives us to evolve and transform ourselves. Finanzauto, with its strategy of embracing change and restoring confidence, is building a promising horizon ahead.
