MACHINERY TRAINING

Operational and Safety Techniques training actions aim to assist trainees in the development of technical skills necessary for the operation of Cat® equipment in order to ensure its profitability.

General Objective:

At the end of the training, trainees should be able to operate Cat® equipment properly and safely.

Specific Objectives:

  • Identify the symbology used in Cat equipment
  • Properly identify and use equipment controls
  • Properly perform preventive maintenance of equipment
  • Identify the safety procedures to be taken into account in the operation of the equipment studied
  • Apply the correct operational techniques in simulation of real work, correct inappropriate behaviors

Programmatic Objectives:

At the end of training, trainees will be able to:

  •  Identify the symbology used in Cat equipment.
  • Correctly identify and use the controls of Cat Wheel Loaders.
  • Properly perform preventive maintenance of equipment studied
  • Identify the safety procedures to be taken into account in the operation of the equipment studied
  • Apply the correct operational techniques in simulation of real work, correct inappropriate behaviors

Recipients: Operators of Cat equipment with operational experience

Equipment Covered: Wheel Loaders, Telehandlers, Crawler Excavators, Wheeled Excavators, Compactors, Motor Graders, Backhoe Loaders, Track-Type Tractors

The training known as MAPS – Machine Application and Performance Seminar aims to assist trainees to develop the technical skills necessary to operate CAT equipment with a view to its profitability, maximizing production.

General Objective:

At the end of the training, trainees will be capable of identifying the appropriate operational techniques for CAT equipment in order to maximize production.

Specific Objectives:

  •  Identify the appropriate operational techniques for CAT equipment in order to maximize production;
  • Identify the appropriate operational techniques that facilitate the profitability of CAT equipment;
  • Identify bad operating practices through the analysis of practical cases on digital media.

Programmatic Objectives:

At the end of training, trainees will be able to:

Specific Objectives:

Identify components and describe the operation of various types of CAT engines.

Identify the components and describe the operation of various systems in the CAT equipment studied.

Programmatic Objectives:

At the end of training, trainees will be able to:

  • Identify components and describe the operation in CAT equipment-

At the end of the training, trainees must be able operate forklifts properly and safely.
